Illustrating how clueless I am about how things work!
I connected a single centre speaker to a main speaker connection on an AV amp., then linked to a CD player to test that it was working. No sound. Then connected it to the centre speaker slot. No sound. Is this because there are no speaker settings on an AV amp that will enable a single speaker to work? Hope this makes sense to someone.
