Hello
I have a pair of Principal Design PD150 speakers, has any one heard of them????
They are fantastic, but at low volume one of the bass/ midrange drivers distorts, but its fine at louder volumes.
I thought the drivers were KefB200 so bought two , they arnt, look very similar and I now believe they are a french driver made by Audax.
I have tried fitting one of the B200 drivers and it works well but dosnt sound as good.
Principal design are long gone, from memory it was owned by a bloke called Christian Thomas and was in Stockwell Road London, its a shame to bin them as the sound quality is fantastic, oh if any one has a pair they would sell, let me know.
I have been told a man called Dr Penfold was a key part of the company?
