Site Comments & Suggestions:: Please post your opinions of HifiForum.co.uk!!
Quote:

thank you for your input, and welcome to the forum!

very kind of you

Quote:

Also, while i do have control over certain aspects of the layout on this site, and the color schemes and themes, i simply don't have the time to implement such a feature. Even if someone else offered to "skin" the forum for me, i think i'd turn it down because it increases the maintenance on the site massively, and also trashes the upgrade path to an extent.

fair enough; it's your train-set!

Quote:

As for usernames being red on blue, i have no idea why this is - i use IE7 on Windows and Firefox on Linux, and on neither of those systems are they red... do you have a color override setup in your browser by any chance?

no, I've tried Internet Exterminator too, and it's the same!?!?

Quote:

Anyway, glad you're happy to find a british forum! There are others out there i believe, but not many that appear on google when you search for "hifi forum"!

Site Comments & Suggestions:: Norton
Or, alternatively, bin Norton and install ZoneAlarm and AVG.
Norton is a complete PITA.
It came pre-installed on my laptop, free for X days; I had binned it within a week.
Quicker bootup, too. Norton seems to hog so many resources.
YUK!

you may be interested to know that since this last outage, i have moved hififorum away from it's old web host.

We are now being hosted elsewhere, on what should hopefully be a much faster, and more reliable server

So far, so good, anyway
