New Members/Introductions:: Looking to get a Mini stereo
HI there! I am looking to buy a mini stereo which may turn into home theatre in the future.It's primary function will be for the use of my iPod, with movies secondary.I do not use CD's or records.I like to listen to hard rock/grunge and also accoustic. The room is 10-12 square metres with hard floors and a 2.5 metre high ceiling.I am looking at getting the Marantz NR 1603 and pair it with B+W 685's.Is this a suitable combination? I am also looking at the Monitor Audio BR-2s,and the KEF Q300's . If not what other amp /speaker combination do you recommend? I have a budget of around $1000 .It's primary function will be for the use of my iPod, with movies secondary.I do not use CD's or records.I like to listen to hard rock/grunge and also accoustic. I am in China so my options are limited to what I can see in the few HiFi stores here or on taobao.com (Chinese ebay).Any suggestions and help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, Having just purchased a Teac H700i, I cannot get the USB connection to work either with my samsung MP3 player or downloaded MPEG Level 3 audio files copied to a blank memory stick.
Does anyone know how I can get around this problem?
I have tried contacting Teac which is now run by Onkyo in the UK, but their help / support isn't much use unfortunately!
Any help would be appreciated?

hi elio , i live in the north-east of england and ,like you , i love old equipment . my amps are Beard valve pre and power amps and my speakers are from the 1990s ( Ruark Talismans) and i like a wide range of music .

Hello there everyone!

I'm not really sure what to say right now other then Hello so I'm just going to have to give a reason why I've joined this place I guess?

Okay so I've joined this place because I'm in love with gaming and reviewing games. (Who doesn't love to play games anyway?)

I'm hoping to make many new friends that Enjoy playing the same video games as me and hope to get a chance to review some stuff!
