Your enthusiasm and suprport is very welcome here.

I'd be the first to acknowledge that there are hifi forums that see considerably more traffic than this one. However, there is a really good bunch of people here who swagger into this forum on a reasonably regular basis. Also, wholly absent is the kind of egotistical rudeness that pervades other forums. Long may its absence here continue.

Also I'd agree with Vinylroolz that this forum tends to get used a lot as an advice platform. This is fine in itself - all contributors are welcome, and just as important, those who reply are pleased to help, but as VR points out - specific questions don't always make for rolling, engaging threads.

Any hoo RandyCornhole, pleased to have you around.

These are popping up more and more and I would have thought deserve a forum each.

I run ethernet over mains to my Squeezebox. It is still not a perfect system, but mostly works supremely well, and with a stand-alone DAC gives nothing away to my Quad CDP.

I could have done with a forum to discuss all aspects of this ...

Or, alternatively, bin Norton and install ZoneAlarm and AVG.
Norton is a complete PITA.
It came pre-installed on my laptop, free for X days; I had binned it within a week.
Quicker bootup, too. Norton seems to hog so many resources.

i did look for the setting, but was incredibly rushed at work at the time, so i didn't have time to look properly...
