HiFi Forum

Some of you may have noticed slowness and possibly outages on hififorum over the last couple of days.

This, apparently, was due to another user on the same web server (owned by my ISP) running a scheduled task (cronjob) that was eating up too many resources. The user had been warned twice about this previously, but has ignored the warnings, so if today's slowness was caused by the same person, i believe his account is going to be suspended.

Therefore, hopefully, as of this point on, the slowness will no longer occur

If you have any problems with the site however, please do let me know by using the "Contact Us" form.

Thanks for understanding
