Hi Yiangos,

Yes Argaka is about 20 minutes north of Paphos, a small village and not really a tourist hotspot, that's why we liked it!

Didn't get a chance to go to Limassol as we were too busy swimming in the pool and drinking beer at the villa, will be going back next year i think but South Africa is first on the list.

We went in July and the heat was extreme to say the least, will probably come over towards the end of next year when it's a bit cooler!

Take it easy.

Hey Kev - you wrote:

I can relate to that...

If you are going to spend any time in Jhbg, please let me know dates/times/etc - you have an open invitation to come round for a barbecue, some beers, some music and some nattering about the problems facing the universe...

If you're in SA go do the tour of Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana with David Rattray if you can. Superb!

Hey Dev,

Will be coming to Jo'burg as that is where my fiancee was born, our hope is to visit at the end of this year / beginning of next but it all depends on work load.

Whenever the time, SA will be our next holiday destination!
Will of course pop by to say hello!

Cheers

I know what you mean. Usually, every Sunday,i take the family for a round in Paphos.I like the place too.It is quiet and in a way "virgin" if you get my meaning.
Another place should visit when in Cyprus,is the Kykkos monastery.Go there at around 12-1 oclock and stay for lunch. You'll love it.

Hi Yiangos,

Is that the one in the mountains?

We drove up a mountain path in our 4x4 to a stunning monastery, really hidden away in one of the most beautiful locations i have ever been too, really amazing architecture.
I forget the name but i think it was the one you mentioned.

Cheers
