Both are great decks but would normally sell for well over £100.
Also consider that you will need a phono stage to work with the Bose unit so remember to add this to your budget. Can't make a recommendation because we are a distributor, perhaps other forum members could help?

You could pick up a 2nd hand rega for around £100 and it would sound great, I've just had a great couple of months listening to a used and a bit battered Pro-ject 6.1 that cost around your budget too, I think the less expensive pro-ject decks seem to be pretty good for a starter system, avoid the ultra cheap maplin phono pre amp though, it's absolutely awful, the budget pro-ject pre amps can be picked up for well under £50 2nd hand and will do a decent job.
If there are any 2nd hand hifi shops near you keep an eye out for classic older decks too, great sound for practically peanuts!

Hard to find a Rega for £100 these days - I've been on ebay looking out for one for a friend! Most people selling them seem to know they're sought after. But I agree about the Pro-Ject decks - we found one for £55 in good nick and with a cartridge (don't forget to factor that into your budget if you're buying second hand). They're great decks, and bargains can still be found, leaving money left over for a phono stage, which as previous posters have intimated, really will make all the difference. Good luck!
