HDCD : High Definition Compatible Digital - This is an encoding system for CDs which aims to get better sound. You need a decoder to hear the full effects and range of frequencies.
Hertz (Hz) : Unit of frequency. 1 Hz means a signal has one cycle per second. Frequencies audible by humans typically range from 20Hz - 20,000 Hz
Hi-Fi : High Fidelity - Refers to sound reproduction equipment that reproduces sound as near to the original sound as possible.
Horn Loading : This improves a drive unit's efficiency and output, by using a structure within the speaker shaped like a horn. This has the same effect as the horn on an old gramophone, or when you shout through a traffic cone.
